Flip-Down Slide Base
The MicroFlip easily converts to a microscope with a base for slides or a field microscope that can be used directly on any flat surface with a quick flip. The slide base stays flush against the back of the microscope until you’re ready to use it.
Powerful 100x – 250x Magnification Range
The MicroFlip is our most powerful pocket microscope yet! We were able to pack in up to 250x magnification while still keeping a lightweight, handheld size.
LED Lighted Microscope and UV Flashlight Function
The MicroFlip uses a bright LED light to illuminate subjects and slides so that you can see every last detail. There is also a UV LED flashlight function that can be used while inspecting currency, forms of ID, certain biological specimens, and stains.
Powered by Just One AA Battery (Not Included)
The MicroFlip only requires a single AA battery for use. The battery is easily installed and replaced by removing the back panel (with the slide base flipped down).
AA battery is not included with the microscope.
Everything You Need to Get Started
The MicroFlip includes the following accessories:
- Universal smartphone adapter clip for taking photos and video
- Comfortable, lightweight wrist strap
- Starter slide with slide cover
Share Pictures and Video
The MicroFlip comes with a universal digiscoping adapter clip. This quickly and easily attaches your smartphone to the microscopes eye piece, and allows you to take photos using your default photo app, and any other app that has photo capabilities, like snapchat or instagram. With the smartphone adapter clip, it’s easy to share pictures and videos on social media, add detailed images to science projects and reports, and to save and compare photos of different specimens over time.
The smartphone digiscoping clip will work with most current smartphones including models by iPhone, Samsung, HTC, LG and more. Thicker cases, like Otterbox style cases, may need to be removed before attaching the digiscoping clip.
